First edition 1965. Never reissued. Designed by Marie-Françoise Héron, creator of the famous Hermès scarves “Le Timbalier”, “Passementerie” and “Théâtre d'Ombre”. Liveries are the outfits worn by coachmen in the colours of their employer, whether king, nobleman or bourgeois. According to the dictionary, “a livery is the distinctive costume worn by certain male servants”. Magnificent drawings, magnificent details. A true work of art, worthy of framing. A rare and sought-after collectable Hermès scarf, in very good condition given its great age. A few flaws, visible in the photographs. Colours: superb bronze and grey on a cream ground.
