Hermès Scarf 90 cm – Mécanique du Temps – Loïc Dubigeon (2002)
VENDU
The Hermès scarf “Mécanique du Temps” (The Mechanics of Time) was designed in 2002 by Loïc Dubigeon. It is inspired by the medieval astronomical clock of Prague, a masterpiece of engineering dating from 1410. Located on the south wall of the Old Town Hall, this clock is famous for its complex astronomical dial, which shows the positions of the sun and the moon, and for its procession of the apostles, which comes to life every hour. Despite the centuries that have passed, it remains in perfect working order, a testament to the craftsmanship of its time. The palette is superb and rare. A beautiful tone-on-tone of purples (lilac, mauve, lavender, amethyst), white and small touches of taupe intertwine harmoniously, evoking the delicate dance of the wheels of time.
This scarf is in very good condition. However, please note a few stains, pulled threads and a soiled mark on the fold, visible in the photos. The photos are an integral part of the description; we invite you to examine them carefully before your purchase. These slight flaws cannot be seen once the scarf is worn.
